All Lemon seal of quality celebrates second year
In only two years, the seal of quality has gained the recognition and respect of the fruit community members. Delivering on the promises made to customers, maintaining the level of self-demand, and speaking through facts, are the key to continue providing an excellence service. The key achievements and results are:
- All the information printed in each All Lemon case is an accurate reflection of its contents: quality, calibration, weight and traceability, among other attributes.
- The number of quality controls at the packing lines of all the member companies has been improved. All Lemon has increased controls by 23% compared to 2010, and has inspected more than 6000 cases on a daily basis.
- In 2011, the company increased the quality standard of its lemon by 25% vis-à-vis 2010, thereby achieving enriched and quality fruit with a homogeneous and stable aesthetic.
- They designed and put in place contingency plans against the frost typical of winter, to ensure that the fruit exported can reach its destination in optimal conditions.
- All Lemon has increased joint actions related to corporate social responsibility, further differentiating its member companies for their positive impact on the community and the environment.
- The company entered markets still underexplored by Argentine lemons, such as Hong Kong, Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, in which exports grew four times compared to 2010. These figures exceed by 60% the prior mark established in 2008, when exports to these markets achieved record volumes. ALL LEMON will continue increasing its presence in these new markets because it is acquainted with the requirements of challenging markets such as the Asian, with high demands in terms of guarantees and safety precautions like those endorsed by our seal of quality.
- All Lemon has increased the number of members. In 2010 they were eleven; at the beginning of 2011 it had grown by one member, while at the end of that year, three more companies had joined the seal. Today, the group is made up of the following fifteen member companies: Argenti Lemon, Cauquén, Citrusvil, Citromax, F.G.F. Trapani, Frutucumán, Juan Sigstad SRL, La Moraleja, La Patria SRL, Latin Lemon, Ledesma, Moño Azul, Pablo Padilla, San Miguel and Univeg Expofrut Argentina.
All Lemon is open to adding new members committed to teamwork in order to achieve a higher and enhanced quality, while implementing particular and joint actions that continue consolidating them as socially-conscious players committed to environmental care, and to the social progress of their employees and the surrounding communities.
