Italy: Tomato Group created after a merger Consorzio Casalasco and Boschi

Starting from a common basis in tomato cultivation and processing, the cities of Parma and Cremona, in the Italian Po-Valley, founded "Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro" as a cooperative of farmers, in 1977.

Since then the idea has always been the same, only figures and production capacities changed. A producer organization with more than 300 members, which has become one of the leaders of the Italian food industry worldwide.

Thanks to the recent acquisition of Boschi Food&Beverage, a Group has been created proposing to the market its vision to do business: to join the agricultural and industrial skills to offer not simply an optimal organoleptic quality, but also to look at innovation and at the research of a sustainable agriculture and processing system.
