EU apple price statistics:

Polish apples €105/100 kg, French apples €132/100 kg in July 2025

Apple prices across Europe show diverging trends among the major producing countries, as reflected in the latest monthly data. The figures reveal that while some markets are experiencing strong upward momentum, others remain more stable, with only minor fluctuations recorded in the summer months.

In Poland, prices surged sharply in recent months. The 2024/25 campaign saw values rise from €78/100 kg in May to €101 in June and €105 in July, far above both the five-year average and last season's levels. The increase reflects tightening supplies combined with stronger export demand.

Italy's market, by contrast, has remained relatively steady. Prices were reported at €99/100 kg in May, €101 in June, and €99 in July. This stability highlights a balanced domestic market, though levels are generally higher than the five-year average, keeping returns firm for growers.

France showed a modest upward correction during early summer but stabilized by July. Prices moved from €130/100 kg in May to €133 in June before easing slightly to €132 in July. Despite the mid-season dip earlier in the year, French apple prices remain well within the long-term range and close to last year's performance.

Germany displayed more moderate figures. Prices reached €81/100 kg in May, €83 in June, and remained at €83 in July. Although these levels are higher than the five-year average, they are still below those seen in Poland, Italy, or France. The German market reflects steady domestic consumption with limited upward pressure during the summer months.
