Kyrgyzstan berry exports rise in Russia’s Kirov Oblast

At least 27.43 tons of berries from Kyrgyzstan have been imported into Kirov Oblast of Russia since the beginning of 2025, according to the press service of the interregional department of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Compared to the same period in 2024, supplies have increased almost sevenfold. During that period, the Kyrgyz Republic exported 3.9 tons of various berries to Kirov. The consignments this year include raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries. Samples were submitted for examination, and quarantinable objects were not detected.

Earlier reports noted that fruits from Kyrgyzstan were supplied to Kamchatka for the first time. Since the start of 2025, Kyrgyz suppliers have shipped more than 55 tons of fruits and berries to different regions of Russia.
