Apple prices across key EU countries have followed varied trajectories over the past year, with notable increases in Poland and Germany between April and June 2025. In Poland, prices surged from €71/100kg in April to €78 in May, peaking at €101 in June—the highest among all markets tracked in that period. This sharp rise reflects a late-season tightening of supply combined with high export demand.

Italy's apple market has shown remarkable price stability, maintaining high levels throughout the year. In April 2025, Italian apples sold for €98/100kg, followed by €99 in May and €101 in June. Italy's consistent pricing points to strong domestic demand and efficient supply chain management, keeping prices resilient even during peak export periods.

France experienced a moderate price recovery in spring 2025. April prices stood at €124/100kg, increasing to €130 in May and €133 in June. While still below the early-season highs of over €140 seen in autumn, this upward trend suggests improved market confidence and seasonal demand recovery after a dip in early 2025.

In Germany, apple prices have steadily climbed since early 2025. From €89/100kg in April, prices rose to €92 in May and €95 in June. Though lower than those in France and Italy, Germany's price trend reflects gradual tightening in supply and growing demand from retail and processing sectors, with overall stability in ex-packaging station prices.
