Netherlands secures China market access for apples

Today, during the High Level Meeting in Beijing, Vice Minister Marten van den Berg of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture and Vice Minister Zhang Baofeng of Chinese Customs signed the Apple protocol to grant market access for apples from the Netherlands into China. The apple protocol, together with the already existing pear protocol, enables Dutch exporters to provide a broader assortment of high-quality top fruit to Chinese consumers.
