Between August 1, 2024, and April 23, 2025, Georgia exported 17.2 thousand tons of apples, valued at $10.9 million, according to the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture. This represents an increase of 15.0 thousand tons, or 7.6 times, compared to the previous year. The export value rose by $9.4 million, or 7.4 times.
The average export price during this period was $0.63 per kilogram. The primary destinations for these exports included Russia with 17,095 tons, Kazakhstan with 60 tons, Belarus with 39 tons, Turkey with 21 tons, and Armenia with 11 tons.
