Hortoinfo has shared the list of the 50 largest fruit and vegetable exporting companies in Spain, based on data from CESCE, Compañía Española de Seguros de Crédito a la Exportación, S.A., for the year 2021. At the top of the list is the Valencian company Eurogroup, with an export value of 485.45 million euro. It is followed in second place by Almeria's Única with 438.29 million euro and -completing the top 3- Murcia's García Aranda with 334.3 million euro.
11 of the top 50 fruit and vegetable exporting companies in 2021 are from Almeria. In addition to Única, we find Alhóndiga La Unión with 283.19 million euro, Vicasol with 244.14, the CASI cooperative with 193.17, Agroponiente with 164.62 million, Agroiris with 142.66, SAT Peregrin with 115.45, Indasol with 101.52, Agrupapulpí with 95.48, Agroponiente with 94.23, and Nature Choice with 82.67 million euro.
Besides Almeria, the provinces with the most companies on the list are Murcia and Valencia, with 8 companies each. From the Region of Murcia, we find García Aranda S.L. with 334.3 million euro, Agronativa S.L. with 214.23, Moyca Grapes, S.L. with 144.28, Agrupación Hortofrutícola Lucas with 124.37, Pascual Marketing with 107.18, Agrícola Perichán with 104.86, Frutas Esther with 89.97, and Grupo Hortofrutícola Paloma with 83.85 million.
The eight exporting firms that the province of Valencia contributes to the Top 50 largest exporters by value are Eurogroup España Frutas y Verduras with 485.45 million euro, Greenyard Fresh Spain S.A. with 239.29 million, Fontestad Citrus, S.L. with 145.76, Alifresca Spain with 134.74, Bollo International Fruits with 115.94, AM Fresh Spain Citrus with 105.06, Guillem Export with 104.4, and Dai Fruits with 81.84 million euro.
