In the Netherlands, the Staay Food Group has acquired Direct Fruit Services' (DFS) shares in the Irish Dole Plc. That strengthens the Staay Food Group's top fruit market position.
DFS will continue its activities unchanged and independently under the trusted leadership of Alex van Ieperen. However, there will be close cooperation with Frupaks-Vernooij, the Staay Food Group's other top fruit branch.
This acquisition underlines the Staay Food Group's goal to play a prominent role in top fruit cultivation and sales.
