David Vandersnickt, new CEO of IFCO France

IFCO SYSTEMS has appointed David Vandersnickt as the new CEO of IFCO France. Along with Francesca Amadei, VP Southern Europe of IFCO SYSTEMS, he will take up his new post on March 1st 2022 in Lyon.

David Vandersnickt will lead the development of a more sustainable and efficient pooling system with a particular focus on customer expectations. He will be in charge of deploying innovative products and solutions proposed by IFCO to the French market in order to reinforce their contribution to a circular economy and sustainable development.

David Vandersnickt has solid experience in pooling and finance, as well as a strong commercial background. In 2021, as an expert in commercial finance for IFCO in Munich, he supported the development of key strategic initiatives. Before joining IFCO, David Vandersnickt spent 11 years working for CHEP Europe, where he held various positions in international finance, becoming commercial finance director both at the corporate level and in mature and emerging markets.

“I am happy to welcome David to IFCO France,” claims Francesca Amadei, VP Southern Europe of IFCO SYSTEMS. “His strong experience in pooling, combined with his strategic skills and fundamental knowledge of the value proposition and commercial finance, make him the ideal person to lead our activities in France. IFCO is at a pivotal point in its history, ready to reinforce its service with innovative digital strategies and to extend the power of its sharing and reuse system beyond its clients of the fruit and vegetable sector.”

“It will be an honor to lead the IFCO France team, which has a solid reputation on the French market,” explains David Vandersnickt. “I am convinced that we can help the fresh produce supply chains in France to become more sustainable and efficient thanks to newer market-driven services. I cannot wait to work with the team, our clients and all our commercial partners.”
