The new Proband V2000 from Project S&P in North Rhine-Westphalia has already impressed a number of visitors at trade shows this year. The machine, which enables simple banding, even with paper bands, will be launched on the market at the beginning of 2022 and follows the Proband V1000. The company had launched this in 2019 - demand is enormous, according to the company.
"Our development 
department has done a great job. The Proband V2000 now enables a cycle rate of up to 30/min, the band buffer has been expanded and band changes are even easier. Spherical rollers enable centered band feeding," says André Vois, Product Manager at the packaging specialist from Kranenburg. He also highlights greater resiliency to moisture and dirt and improved access to the machine, which makes cleaning even easier, for example.

Progreen banderols can be 100% recycled
Companies in the fruit and vegetable growing sector are increasingly opting for ecological banding instead of a lot of outer packaging. Many companies are looking for completely environmentally friendly solutions. "While we also offer plastic or composite banding, we recommend our 100% recyclable Progreen paper banding. This means that companies marketing organic products in particular can position themselves in front of the end customer as truly completely ecological!" emphasizes Vois.
Partner network expansion
Project S&P has established a distribution network of partners to sell its Proband V models. "Already today we work with colleagues in Spain, Portugal, Poland, France, Austria of Switzerland as well as the Netherlands and Italy! We remain open to new partners as well," says Jan Hanenkamp, one of the two managing directors of Project Service & Produktion.
