Sainsbury’s launches vegetable box for the autumn season

Just in time for Organic September, Sainsbury’s is offering its first-ever SO Organic Veg Box. The limited-edition boxes, which are packed with a variety of vegetables, will be available to pick up from tomorrow until October 13. More than 30 years ago, Sainsbury’s was the first UK retailer to develop its own organic line. Customers can now purchase a British veggie box from the company’s 250-item catalog.

The box comprises six vegetables, including carrots, leeks, and potatoes, and costs £7. The other three vegetables will change depending on what’s in season at the time. Broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage are all examples of this. Furthermore, the vegetables are packaged in a cardboard box that is 100% recyclable.
