Conference pears saw rise of 18%

UK: Weekly average wholesale market prices for fruit and vegetables

In this week's average wholesale market prices of home grown  produce from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs the biggest increase for fruit was the price of Conference pears, increasing by 18%.

Turnips saw a drop of 34% compared to last week, losing 53 pence on the previous price.

This series gives the average wholesale prices of selected home-grown horticultural produce in England and Wales.
