Harvest Moon is a vertically integrated vegetable business operating across Tasmania and interstate markets. We supply major retailers, export partners and foodservice customers, with a strong focus on productivity, quality and long-term sustainability.
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Manager to lead our production operations team based in Forth, Tasmania.
This senior leadership role reports directly to the Managing Director and is a key position within our Leadership Team. You will be responsible for overseeing agricultural performance across the business, leading crop planning, agronomy, production systems and sustainability outcomes, while ensuring supply aligns with commercial demand.
Working closely with the Managing Director, sales team, agronomists, contract growers and operational teams, you will play a critical role in shaping the future capability of our farming operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead agricultural strategy aligned with business objectives
- Manage farm managers, agronomists and production teams across multiple sites
- Oversee crop planning, yield performance and resource optimisation
- Drive continuous improvement through technology, data and farming systems
- Strengthen sustainability outcomes across soil, water and environmental management
- Manage agricultural budgets, compliance and operational risk
- Build strong relationships with growers, suppliers and industry partners
About You
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale agricultural operations
- Strong technical background in agronomy, farm management or agricultural science
- Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and operational performance
- Commercially astute with strong strategic decision-making capability
- Passion for agriculture and innovation in farming systems
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
