Spain adds new shipping route to Canada

A new shipping connection linking northern Spain with Canada is scheduled to begin on 22 December. The service will start with the MSC YANG R, voyage CE551A, departing from the Port of Vigo. The route will provide an additional transport option for exporters moving goods between the two regions.

The planned rotation includes Malaga, Sines, Vigo, Gijon, Bilbao, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Le Havre, Montreal, Halifax, and returns to Malaga and Sines.

The operator states that the service is designed to offer consistent scheduling, equipment availability, and direct access to Canadian ports for shippers in northern Spain.
