Azerbaijan earns $695M from fruit and vegetable exports for 10 months of 2025

In January–October 2025, Azerbaijan exported 660,500 tonnes of fruits and vegetables, generating $695.5 million in revenue, according to the State Customs Committee and APA-Economics.

Compared with the same period in 2024, the export value increased by 30% ($160.5 million), while volumes grew by 28.1% (144,800 tonnes). In the first ten months of 2024, the country had exported 515,700 tonnes worth $535 million.

The main exported products in 2025 included:

  • Tomatoes: 146,400 tonnes, $159.8 million
  • Hazelnuts: 15,400 tonnes, $124.5 million
  • Persimmons: 91,900 tonnes, $66.9 million
  • Apples: 81,800 tonnes, $57.4 million
  • Potatoes: 70,900 tonnes, $28.2 million
  • Pomegranates: 21,400 tonnes, $20.5 million.
