Spain's stone fruit sector to meet in Murcia next month

Murcia will host the sixth National Stone Fruit Congress at the Victor Villegas Auditorium on December 11, 2025, bringing together researchers, technicians, producers, and companies involved in the fruit and vegetable sector.

The event, organized by Agromarketing EspaƱa, has become a key industry forum in recent years, gathering experts and industry representatives in a single day. This sector is considered the most important in Europe within this field.

The program will cover production trends, crop management, nutrition, and post-harvest techniques, as well as technological innovations transforming the production and marketing of peaches, nectarines, apricots, and plums. The agenda includes technical presentations, round tables, and participation from companies showcasing their latest innovations and developments.

The organizers emphasize that the goal is to provide a comprehensive view of the sector's challenges and opportunities, including the impacts of climate change, digitalization, and sustainability. Additionally, the congress will again serve as a platform for sharing experiences and creating synergies among national and European professionals.

In recent editions, this forum has hosted over 800 attendees, both in person and online, highlighting its importance as a key event for those seeking to update their knowledge on innovation, regulations, and market trends.

The format combines technical presentations, networking, and participation online or in person via Agromunity, a platform with over 18,000 users in the agri-food sector.
