Eleven-pound cartons of bunched jumbo, large, and standard are mostly priced at 28.75-30.75. In Washington, supplies are light, and seasonal decline continues. Standard packs range from 26.00-28.95, and large from 28.00-30.95. Imports from Peru are increasing, with green jumbo mostly at 36.50-38.75 and large at 39.75-40.75.
Avocado
Mexican avocado movement via Texas is steady. Trading is slow, and prices are mostly unchanged for conventional 84s and organic 60-70s. Hass 60s are 37.25-39.25, and 84s are 23.25-25.25. Organic 60s fetch 66.25-68.25. California movement is also steady, with conventional 60s at 43.25-45.25 and organic 60s at 68.25-70.25.
Blueberry
Georgia's blueberry movement is steady with moderate trading. Conventional flats are mostly 20.00-22.00, and organic 34.00-36.00. Mexican crossings are also stable with 6-ounce flats ranging from 15.00-20.00 and 1-pint flats at 22.00. California's seasonal increase shows conventional 6-ounce flats at 16.00-20.00 and organics at 24.00-28.00.
Cucumber
Mexican cucumber movement via Nogales is decreasing. Medium sizes are mostly 10.95-11.95; fair quality fetches 8.95-9.95. The Texas movement is stable with medium mostly at 12.95-14.95. The Georgia movement is steady, though trading slowed later. Mediums are 14.35-15.85 with fair quality at 5.35-6.35.
Green bell pepper
Coachella Valley supply is steady. Extra-large peppers are 16.95-18.95, while large peppers fetch 16.95. Georgia's seasonal rise sees jumbo at 13.35-14.35 and extra-large at 14.35. Fair quality trades at 10.35-12.35.
Tomato
Florida's movement is stable. Jumbo mature greens are 15.35; 5x6 and 6x6 sizes range 13.35-15.35. In Texas, Mexican vine-ripened tomatoes have decreased. 4x4-4x5s are mostly 14.95-16.95; 5x6s are 10.95-11.95. Arizona crossings show 5x6s mostly at 8.95-10.95. California's seasonal supply increase is expected, with the first F.O.B. report due in late June.
