Emergent Cold Latin America (Emergent Cold LatAm), the largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics and storage services for food in Latin America, has announced the completion of its facility expansion in Apodaca, Mexico.
The expansion added 3,900 positions, increasing the facility's capacity to 17,500 pallets in 145,000 m³. This is the second project completed in Mexico this month. Recently, the company announced the completion of the expansion of its unit in Villagrán (Guanajuato).
Juan Pablo Benitez, Managing Director of Emergent Cold LatAm for Mexico, explained: "the completion of these two expansions is just the beginning of our ambitious expansion plans in Mexico. We are building a new warehouse in Monterrey and looking for the best opportunities for growing our network in the country."

Emergent Cold LatAm began its operations in Mexico in September 2022 through the acquisition of Bajo Cero and acquired Qualianz in January of the following year. Currently, the company operates over 30 strategically located warehouses across Mexico, from Mexico City to Tijuana, boasting a capacity exceeding 1 million cubic meters and nearly 200,000 pallet positions for refrigerated and frozen foods.
