According to the Uzbekistan Statistical Agency, in January 2024, the volume of fruit and vegetable exports reached 146,300 tons.
Compared to January 2023, this figure increased by 2.2 times, or 78,800 tons, equivalent to $75.4 million, marking a 29.3% growth. Overall, exports accounted for 6.8% of the total.
Here are the main consumers of Uzbekistan's fruit and vegetable products in January 2024:
- Pakistan: 43,600 tons, $16.0 million, 21.2% share
- Kazakhstan: 28,600 tons, $7.0 million, 9.2% share
- Russia: 28,200 tons, $20.5 million, 27.2% share
- China: 13,500 tons, $10.1 million, 13.4% share.
