Photo report: 7th Bio-Fachforum Gemüse und Kartoffeln in Visselhövede

Combating climate change with artificial intelligence, water technology and robotics

Around 250 trade visitors from organic agriculture, the organic trade and research met for the 7th time in Visselhövede for the Bio-Fachforum Gemüse und Kartoffeln (Organic Vegetables and Potatoes Expert Forum). They listened with interest to several presentations and discussed current challenges and potential. Key topics included climate change, water supply, robotics and AI. Especially after the crises of recent years, the need for new production possibilities is greater than ever. In addition, several exhibitors presented products such as biostimulants, potato varieties and more. The originally announced Federal Minister Cem Özdemir had to be excused.

Despite current developments, i.e. toll charges and cost developments etc., the participants from all over Germany and the Netherlands were positive about the future. Many also agreed that the Bio-Fachforum was unique in its form and that the exchange with other representatives of the sector was particularly enriching.

Here you can find a photo report on the 7th Bio-Fachforum.
