The value of Tunisia’s fruit exports went up 25% to 55.9 million dinars from the start of the year until June 10. Data from the Inter-Professional Fruit Grouping showed the increase also included exported volumes which amounted to 15,763, until June 10 this year, compared to 14,076 during the same period last year.
The Libyan market kept the lead in countries importing Tunisia’s fruits, with a value of 6.8 million dinars, followed by Italy, with 5 million dinars. The third place went to the United Arab Emirates, with a value of more than 500,000 dinars, followed by France with 396,000 dinars. As for the fifth place, it went to the State of Kuwait with 297,000 dinars.
