Spain: Codiagro's new offices are based on plant morphology

The new offices of Codiagro were inaugurated in 2017 and they are a true showcase of nature. The Spanish company is a pioneer in natural bio-stimulant products and vegetable nutrition.

The objective of the corporate interior design project was to combine both concepts to transmit the values and culture of the company. "On the one hand, we wanted to show that innovation is a fundamental pillar of the company and, on the other hand, the connection between the health of plants and nature," stated Codiagro. "The goal was to create a warm space that has positive energy to put an end to the cold and dark atmosphere of the current facilities", they added.

This first phase covers the renovation of the 310 m2 ground floor offices, the exterior area of the building's entrance, and a room for meetings and events on the upper floor.

"The project has a pleasant and stimulating environment, which transmits the brand's bond with the plant world to the visitors. We used materials, textures, and colors that evoke that natural essence, but also geometries and finishes of futuristic aesthetics. Wood, smooth finish mortar, resin, colored glasses, and other elements merge to suggest plant health and innovation," they said.

The creative axis for the interior design is based on the morphology of the leaves of the plants and the cultivation fields. These organic patterns are broken down into innovative linear geometries that make up a large part of the furniture and dividers that act as distribution elements.
