Genetti Eco, the company based in Lana (South Tyrol), has announced its partnership with DOM TERRY. The aim is to replace two main products in agriculture with ecological equivalents, namely glyphosate and copper. Both new products were patented worldwide at the end of August and will be available worldwide from March 2019, says Raimund Genetti, Managing Director of Genetti ECO GmbH.
Genetti ECO GmbH has been trading in fertilizers and agricultural equipment for 30 years. Due to the large network of Europe-wide distribution and the growing need for ecological replacement products, the management was looking for a global partner in this specific area. ''Our German customers are increasingly organizing production abroad for the domestic market. At the same time, we note that the demand for European know-how, with its claim to sustainability and traceability, is increasing from producers to consumers and the production of healthy food at international levels is becoming a global requirement." According to Mr. Genetti, the main topics are the reduction of chemical solutions with ecological ones, as well as the responsible use of the raw material water.
Two main products
The Dom Terry company has registered some 10 international patents in recent years and has now -in synergy with the Genetti ECO- set itself the goal to also cover the German and international market. The focus will be on two products, Genetti announces. ''Firstly glyphosate and secondly copper. These products are patented worldwide at the end of August and will be available worldwide from March 2019. We believe that it is through our partnership and commitment that we can successfully promote and pursue global projects," Genetti concludes.
