California nut grower promotes Nick Rush to Director of Sales
Nichols Farms is a third generation farming and processing operation in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The company recently made the announcement that Nick Rush has been promoted as the new Director of Sales.
In his new role, Rush will be charged with overseeing strategic sales, growth and expenses as well as driving a national sales team and reporting in to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Tristan Simpson. Prior to joining Nichols Farms, Rush was with Borges USA-Star Fine Foods. He holds a BS in Accounting from Fresno State University.
“With a passion for delivering excellence, I couldn’t be happier to have Nick as a leader within our team,” says Simpson. “His continued success and drive will not only add to our commitment of high quality products and high quality people, but solidify our brand’s long term success in the global marketplace.”
In his new role, Rush will continue the brand vision with two direct national sales manager reports, Charlotte Avila and Alex Gomez. He’ll be responsible for spearheading domestic and international strategic sales efforts, brand improvements and performance, seeking out new ventures as well as motivate and mentor the existing sales force.
