"China: "Chestnut production in Liaoning down by about 10-15%"

"This year, due to the stable climate and the expansion of the planting area, the chestnut output in Shandong has increased slightly compared with last year. "Our chestnuts come from Rizhao, Shandong and Dandong, Liaoning. The supply period is from the end of August to the next March. The chestnuts from Dandong in Liaoning are listed in early September. Due to the impact of production cuts, the market price is expected to be higher than the same period last year. At present, the price of chestnuts in Shandong is basically the same as that of the same period last year."
