France: Co-owners Association of Saint Charles Export re-elects president

The General Assembly of the Co-owners’ Association was an opportunity for the 63 co-owners of the private site of Saint Charles International to take stock of the past year and to project on the current and future years.

The review was generally positive, especially regarding inputs onsite, which have increased compared to the previous year are proof of the dynamism of the platform and its attractiveness.

Like every two years, the assembly was elective. The 63 co-owners then proceeded to the election of the directors, then the office. The mandates of all the outgoing directors were renewed, proof of the trust placed in them and the commitment of the latter to pursue this mission together.

This elective assembly therefore renewed Mr. Edouard Raymond as President: “I thank all the co-tenants and owners of our association who, through the Board of Directors, have renewed their confidence in me. Many projects are waiting for us and I think that the high quality team of administrators around me will enable us to achieve our objectives.”

Renewal of the Bureau for the next two terms:
  • Mr. Edouard Raymond, President
  • Mr. Jean-Jacques Perpere, Vice-president
  • Mr. Sébastien Chauvet, Treasurer
  • Mr. Amédée Deit, Secretary
This Assembly was also an opportunity to present the actions carried out by the services of the Association in terms of improvements, maintenance and safety, including prevention, in order to combat infractions of the Highway Code on the private site of Saint Charles International. This is a long-term task done with a single purpose: the safety of users of the site. Thus, continuous progress has been made in terms of equipment and control, in particular of traffic, in view of the ceaseless flow of heavy goods vehicles.

There was also a focus on the expansion work of some owners, again highlighting the dynamism of the activity, especially as little land is available in the area.

Lastly, participants were reminded of the commitment of the Co-owners’ Association, since November 1, 2017, as a partner of the European “TRAILS” project, together with the Occitania Region, the MP² platform, the Perpignan Economic Development Agency, the FNTR-FNTV 66 and the Eurosud Team. Cross-border programme between the Eastern Pyrenees and Catalonia, lasting 36 months, to be completed in 2020.
