AgroFresh ends 2017 with higher turnover

The AgroFresh turnover figure for 2017 was 164 million dollars, 4 million dollars more than in 2016. This can be seen from the company's annual figures.

The GAAP net income is at 23 million Euro over 2017. A year previously the result was at 112 million in the red. "I'm happy to report a solid end to 2017," according to CEO Jordi Ferre. "We are starting a new growing phase for the company in 2018. Our core activity is healthy." The higher turnover is the result of the contribution of Tecnidex and a higher sales of Harvista. Last year AgroFresh took over Tecnidex Fruit Protection. This company has a strong position in the citrus market. AgroFresh aims to diversify with the takeover.
