This is what you call an eco friendly way of delivering packages. With the 'city-hub' initiative DHL is now delivering packages by bike in the Hague. Hopefully lots of delivery people are looking forward to an active challenge, as the company wants to carry out the deliveries by bike in more inner cities in the future. The plan is part of DHL's goal to become emission free by 2050.
The bike carts can carry up to 300 kilos of packages. Besides bikes DHL also uses electric cars.
