VegPro to offer free courses to members of AU veg industry

VegPro is a project funded by Horticulture Innovation Australia using the research and development Vegetable levy and funds from the Australian government. They coordinate free training for the Vegetable Industry in Australia. Two of these upcoming courses include a workshop on innovation in the industry and a negotiation course.

Negotiation + Influencing Course
This two day course is designed to help those working in the industry to better negotiate by seeing what drives the other side, how to adapt your negotiating style and to better identify and employ tactics and counter-tactics.

The workshop is for vegetable levy members or those who work with the vegetable levy members and will take place on July 25th.

Vegetable Innovation Workshop
Their one day Vegetable Innovation Workshop will take place in Melbourne, on August 4, 2017. The workshop looks to enthuse interested members of the industry and provide insight, tools, resources and contacts for vegetable producers, processors and marketeers to de-risk the opportunity around developing new value-added vegetable products for relevant markets.

Companies involved in the Australian vegetable industry receive priority places, with a limit of 2 representatives per company. Those who do not work in the industry may also visit, but must pay a fee of $450 and will be notified by email after registration. Those interested can register for either course on the company's website.
