China: Loquat fruit from Ningbo greenhouse estates hit the market

Local white loquat fruits arrive on the market every year in May. However, in the greenhouses, the first batch of white loquats has already ripened, which is a month earlier than the white loquats grown in the field. The two spells of cold air in January this year destroyed a large part of loquats. Loquats grown in the mountains were not strongly affected. The output will be 50% lower than would be the case under normal circumstances.
