Italian company targets China and Indonesia with red orange
Asia Fruit Logistica, one of the most important food events in the world of fresh products, draws to a close today, September 9th.
The event attracts the interest of thousands of buyers from 37 countries and among 650 exhibitors there are 52 Italian companies, 29 of these offer fresh products like Oranfrizer: a national leader in the Sicilian citrus market that follows and develops with passion the opportunities offered by the Asian markets.
Oranfrizer is currently involved in the event with other key-companies in the project Delicious-Freshness from Europe supported by the European Union, the Italian State and managed by the CSO (Centro Servizi Ortofrutticoli), aiming to promote Italian fruit consumption in North America, Japan, China and the United Arab Emirates.
The fruit promoted and exported by Oranfrizer is the red orange, both fresh and juice, whose production chain starts and end in Italy, in fact all varieties of red oranges (Tarocco, Moro and Sanguinello) that Oranfrizer exports in the world are grown, selected, packed and processed exclusively in Sicily, the Italian island with the largest area of citrus fruits’ production.
Several years ago the company started to export to Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, England, Sweden and the United States, and now it focuses at two new target-countries: China and Indonesia.
