Grape grower awarded Western Cape Farmer of the Year

Jacques Beukes from Modderdrift Farm was awarded Western Cape Farmer of the Year 2016. Members from the Capespan team visited Modderdrift to congratulate Jacques personally and handover a gift on behalf of Capespan.

Modderdrift exported over 400,000 cartons of grapes through Capespan during the past season to markets including the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Middle East. Modderdrift was one of the first table grape growers who exported product to Thailand after SA’s return to the market.
