New varieties for greater consistency
Spanish fruit producer invests in innovation
Fresh Gold Quality, with its 500 hectares, provides stone fruit, persimmons, pome fruit and citrus in both conventional packaging and packaging designed specifically for its customers.
In order to provide a good product for their customers for longer, Fresh Gold Quality invests in orchards of early and late fruit trees. Maria Campodarbe, head of foreign trade, said: “We are constantly innovating in varieties since we believe it is important to offer a better product to the end consumer. We look for greater consistency in the fruit, and for it to be better looking, with more sugar and flavour.”
The main markets where Fresh Gold Quality produce is exported are the countries of the European Union, including Britain, Germany, France, Lithuania and Slovakia, and also to Algeria and the United Arab Emirates, among others.
