foodlife & Irmato join forces in robotics

foodlife is proud to present Irmato as their global
and exclusive partner in robotics for the fruit and
vegetable industry. Together they plan to truly
develop the future of food processing.

Their objective and vision for robotics, which they consider the future of food processing: to reduce costs, reduce manual labour, increase production, achieve optimal process control, improve quality and to minimise waste and 'give-away', and all of this combined & incorporated in a hygienic and ergonomic design designed and made in Holland.

Patrick Jansen Managing director JFPT foodlife:
"Behind the scenes, foodlife has been working on robotic solutions for many years. Now together with our global and exclusive partner Irmato, a true system integrator with many years of experience in intelligent solutions, based on the unique philosophy of SmartOriented Handling, we are ready for future of foodprocessing robotic solutions."

Martin F. Wieffering Executive officer Irmato:
"I am very happy with our partnership with foodlife. In the solutions we develop and realise for our clients, technology is integrated at all levels: not only robotics and 3-D vision technology, but also control and management software along with 'traditional' mechanical engineering and precision engineering. The possibility for automating the handling of products with varying shapes in completely random positions makes our systems and installations especially interesting for the fresh cut fruit and vegetables industry."

Their first foodlife-Irmato robotics innovation solution is expected to be launched and operational this year.
