Artist receives a million dollars for potato photo

Artist Kevin Abosch shows there's more money to be gotten out of spuds than just sales. The artist takes portrait photos of well known faces in the Silicon Valley and decided to photograph a potato on a black background in 2010. This was a profitable idea. A rich fan visited Kevin in Paris and decided to lay down one million dollars for the 162 x 162 cm photo.
