"First Clemenrubi of the season arrive with higher quality than last year"

After a summer with high temperatures in most of the Spanish citrus production areas, the new season Clementine season kicked off for Tollupol with the first Clemenrubi.



"The first Clementines we have started marketing stand out for their uniform colour and good size, as well as an excellent flavour," explains Cristina Company, Communications and Human Relations manager at the Valencian company Joaquin Llusar & Co., best known for its flagship brand, Tollupol.

Cristina has some very positive prospects for the new campaign, mostly based on the good end of last year's season, especially with the table orange variety Navel Powel.

"Unlike at the start of last year's season, which was marked by some problems in the consistency of the fruit, this year we are very happy with the quality of the Clementines. For us it is extremely important to have a quality product that meets the demands of our customers."



Extending the campaign with late varieties
For the third consecutive year, the Tollupol group continues with an ambitious expansion plan that is leading them to conquer new markets. "As part of our commitment to supply our consolidated customers with early and late varieties, the Tollupol group is pursuing to prolong the campaign as much as possible with late varieties that are up to the expected quality standards."

Cristina concludes by saying that "we face the new campaign filled with optimism and enthusiasm."
