Mexico volcano eruption in Colima

Some 800 people have been evacuated from the area immediately surrounding the Colima volcano in Western Mexico due to increased volcanic activity and large amounts of ash being spewed from the crater, falling from the skies onto surrounding communities.



The government warned people to wash fruit and vegetables before consumption. In areas where the ash may fall down.

If and what the impact will be on the fresh produce industry is not sure yet, but we'll keep you up to date.
