Central American Produce announces promotions

As part of a strategic growth plan, Central American Produce has added Davide Scarsini and Marissa Geoffroy to their staff.

Scarsini, a 12-year veteran, has joined the company as a senior sales representative. He was most recently employed by Southern Specialties. Geoffroy is assuming the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives and will be initially working in the areas of logistics and new software implementation. She was most recently employed by Topco Associates.

Also joining the company recently is Mauricio Sanchez as Chief Operating Officer. Sanchez is vastly experienced in strategic planning and development, as well as operations and systems management.

Company President Michael Warren states, “Central American Produce has been on a dramatic growth trajectory in the past couple of years. Our vision is “To Be the Partner of Choice” with product from our own farms, our associated growers and our customers. We will achieve our vision by setting the standard by which quality and service are measured in the produce industry. It was time for us to add new talent to our team and increase our hands on expertise to help us with this growth, as we launch several new strategic initiatives in 2015. We are fortunate to have a great team in place. We are very excited to have Davide, Marissa and Mauricio join the CAPCO family.”

Central American Produce has been growing with passion since 1976.
