Italy: Aggressive policy in 2015

"Nowadays, those on the defensive are bound to lose from the start," explains Roberto Donà, sales manager for Eurofrut. "In 2014, we consolidated what we did in the previous years, diversifying our products, clientèle, suppliers and destinations." The wholesaler supplies domestic and foreign retailers with peaches and nectarines, kiwis, citrus fruit, pears, apples and a great variety of vegetables.

"The result of all this was the fact that the Russian ban affected us only slightly. Our policy will be aggressive in 2015, starting with Fruit Logistica."

"New markets and new destinations are interesting, and will be even more so in the future because we live in a global market: marketing windows are increasingly reduced, so we need to sell anywhere for a short period of time."

In Berlin, you will find Eurofrut in Hall 4.2, stand C-05. In addition to Dona', chairman Angelo Russo, retail manager Milco Giorgini, foreign sales managers Mario Tartari, Maria Grazie Cesarotto and Francesca Russo and Bologna sales managers Andrea Franceschi and Alain Garagnani will also take part.
