Previously Director of Sales and Purchasing at Nature's Pride where he was involved in developing the sourcing and trading side. With 20 years in the trade, Van Es has extensive experience in exotic fruits and vegetables. Since leaving his former company, he started his own business dealing with frozen exotic fruit.Van Es said he was looking forward to the new challenge with Total Exotics, "It is a young company and I hope I can help take it to the next level."
He goes on to say that Total Exotics aims to grow with its existing customers and will welcome new customers along the way. "It is a big market with plenty of room to grow, as a company we must remain customer focussed. The ready-to-eat mangoes and avocados are becoming common place on supermarket shelves and demand will continue to grow. People are willing to pay for the 'perfectly ripened' fruit."
