Last year logistic service supplier Dokus de Klerk started a new trading branch for the GDK Group: De Klerk Groenten & Fruit. For the first year trade took place from Bakker & Leenheer's former premises, but since taking their own premises at Koopliedenweg 5 in Barendrecht, all activities have been arranged under one roof.
Wim Boon and Fatih Polath have left the firm and Hans Bek is the new commercial manager for both De Klerk Groenten en Fruit and the GDK Group. The company has international trading ambitions and also wants to extend its storage and overhaul activities in its location with a surface of 2,500 m2, three cooling cells and fifteen banana ripening cells.
