Turners & Growers negotiate takeover of Apollo Apples

During the Fruit Logistica in Berlin, BayWa subsidiary Turners & Growers Ltd, (T&G), a worldwide exporter of fruit products from New Zealand, announced that they are presently negotiating a possible takeover of Apollo Apples Ltd, another well established New Zealand producer and exporter.

According to official statements from BayWa, negotiations are still at an early stage with shareholders of Apollo Apples Ltd. There has not yet been any contractual agreement made between the two companies and talks are still ongoing. According to BayWa, it is possible that the negotiations could lead to no result.
