Rijk Zwaan shares healthy ideas at Asia Fruit Logistica
As always, Rijk Zwaan will be presenting a number of novelties, one of which is the ‘Golden Emerald’ melon concept. This has been specially developed for Asia and is characterised by a rapid ripening process and very sweet taste, along with golden-yellow netted skin and flesh with an emerald-green colour. Several packaging concepts will be on display at the company’s stand, and members of the Rijk Zwaan chain team will be on hand to share their ideas about the opportunities for this concept on the Asian market. Further highlights on the stand will include Rijk Zwaan’s other innovative vegetable concepts such as Caribbean, Sensational Snacks, Mellissimo and Salanova.
On the final day of the trade show, Rijk Zwaan will be contributing to the Business Forum at Asia Fruit Logistica. From 15:00-16:00, the company will be sharing its vision on pioneering growing techniques such as urban farming, plant factories and hydroponic cultivation. In line with its ‘Sharing a healthy future’ theme, Rijk Zwaan is keen to demonstrate how the sector can respond to a number of the challenges the world currently faces in a responsible and sustainable manner.
Asia Fruit Logistica is the leading trade show for fruit and vegetables in Asia, and this year will be the seventh edition of the event. Rijk Zwaan is exhibiting at stand number F26 in Hall 3.
