Neeraj International an Indian company specialising in pomegranates, grapes and onions has been in the business for twelve years, and will for the first time be exhibiting at Asia Fruit Logistica, in Hong Kong.Neeraj Anand, head of International Business Development at the company, explained that he has been visiting the Trade Fair for three years and has met both serious and reputable companies involved in fresh produce, Importers as well as retailers. "However we have been very cautiously approaching the Asian market with more emphasis on quality and understanding the requirements of the customers as it is a new market for our company."
Traditionally Neeraj International has exported to Europe and Russia.
"Now that we have some experience with this market, we intend to penetrate more into the Asian markets by finding the right companies/retailers who wish to handle Indian pomegranates and grapes," concludes Anand.
