Role: Quality Controller
Location: The Netherlands
Purpose of the Role: To manage all aspects of quality within the Business competently and cost effectively. Ensuring all products is packed to customer specifications and the correct quality standards are applied.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all products are packed and handled to meet customer specifications quality check and audit products.
- Accurately assessing and completing Inbound checks / documentation on intake of product.
- Maintain quality monitoring in production area, ensuring that information is recorded in KBS accurately.
- Re Inspections for resident deliveries – change RAG.
- Communicate issues on quality – take out in excess of expectation, unexpected issues, replacement stock to commercial team.
- Monitoring of Class 2 and waste pullouts across packhouse, reallocation of stock to customer specs
- All pallets to be positive released from Production and Warehouse.
- To assist with temperature checks and calibration.
- To support training and coaching third party packing facilities with quality standards to meet customer specifications.
- Write, Study and send Quality Control of reports to growers
- Follow-up evolution of defect in weekly base for each grower and ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Daily check of stock and communicate fruit condition to Sales and Logistics Department
- All Pallets to be positive released from prior to despatch
- Respect the food safety policy and procedures defined by management and Technical Department
- Listening to customers, and ensuring that all their requirements are met
- Report any non-compliance with customers or others to technical department
Key Skills & Knowledge
Essential:
- Communication Skills
- Knowledge of office 365
- You have knowledge of products, product regulations, quality control systems and relevant legislation.
- You have knowledge of modern languages.
- Knowledge of Exotics, Soft fruit, Melons, and Citrus is an advantage.
- You are in possession of a driving license B.
