In 2025, Uzbekistan exported 45,200 tonnes of tomatoes to 12 countries with a total value of USD 36 million, according to the National Committee of Statistics of Uzbekistan. Compared with 2024, export volumes declined by 3,300 tonnes.
The main destinations were CIS countries. Russia accounted for 32,786 tonnes, Kazakhstan imported 6,850 tonnes, and Kyrgyzstan purchased 5,115 tonnes. Exports to the United Arab Emirates totalled 325.8 tonnes, while Tajikistan imported 48.2 tonnes. Other countries purchased 81.6 tonnes.
Preliminary data from the National Committee of Statistics also show that potato production in Uzbekistan exceeded 4.1 million tonnes in 2025. Farms of all categories produced 4,160,185 tonnes during the reporting year. This represents a 0.2% increase compared with 2024.
The largest harvest volumes were recorded in the Samarkand region with 773,598 tonnes. Other major producing regions included Andijan (530,666 tonnes), Fergana (480,007 tonnes), Namangan (420,348 tonnes), and the Tashkent region (415,368 tonnes).
