Kyrgyzstan’s nut exports decline 4.5-fold in 2025

In January–December 2025, Kyrgyzstan exported 5,848 tonnes of nuts worth USD 8.78 million, according to the National Statistical Committee. This represents a 4.5-fold decrease year-on-year, compared with 26,210 tonnes valued at USD 20.7 million in 2024.

Russia remained the largest destination, with exports falling to 1,969 tonnes (USD 0.92 million) from 8,369 tonnes (USD 4.44 million) a year earlier.

Other key markets in 2025 included Uzbekistan (1,046 tonnes), Azerbaijan (720 tonnes), Serbia (602 tonnes), and Turkey (538 tonnes), while smaller volumes were shipped to Iran, Georgia, Afghanistan, Germany, China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries.
