Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports were estimated at more than US$7.8 billion in the first 11 months of 2025, an 18 per cent year-on-year increase, according to the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association. Export turnover in November reached US$754 million, up 64.9 per cent compared with the same month last year.

Vietnam imported over US$2.44 billion worth of fruit and vegetables during the same period, a 15 per cent increase, resulting in a trade surplus of US$5.4 billion. China remained the main export market, accounting for more than US$4.5 billion in the first 10 months, followed by the United States with nearly US$455 million and the Republic of Korea with over US$264 million.

Key products included durian, banana, mango, jackfruit, coconut, and grapefruit. Durian continued to lead export earnings, with an estimated US$3.4 billion in the first 11 months, surpassing the total value recorded in 2024.
