Agrico Ukraine has achieved its goal of making Agrico potato varieties accessible to local consumers, following efforts that began in 2018. The company's potato varieties Ranomi and Alouette are now available in three of Ukraine's largest retail chains: Silpo, Novus, and Metro.
The development marks broader availability of Agrico varieties within Ukraine's consumer market, supported through the company's collaboration with USAID Agro. Agrico Ukraine acknowledged the support of Kseniya Sydorkina, PMP, and the Chemonics International team in Ukraine for their involvement in the project.
Agrico Ukraine also expressed appreciation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for enabling continued agricultural production and food supply within the country.
